Viral warts
Benign lesions caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV), common on the hands and feet (plantar warts, or “verrucas”). They are contagious through direct contact or damp surfaces.
There are several treatments — cryotherapy, keratolytics, among others — chosen according to age, the number of lesions and their location.
