Urethritis (gonococcal and non-gonococcal)
Inflammation of the urethra, usually due to a sexually transmitted infection (gonococcus, chlamydia), with burning on passing urine and discharge.
Laboratory testing guides the correct antibiotic; treating partners prevents reinfection.
