Rosacea

A chronic condition affecting the skin of the face: persistent redness, episodes of flushing, small visible vessels and, at times, spots. Certain triggers — sun, alcohol, spicy foods, extreme temperatures — make it worse. It mainly affects adults between 30 and 50 years of age.

Treatment combines daily skincare, medication and, for the redness and the vessels, vascular laser, with good results.
