Psoriasis vulgaris

A chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disease that appears as red plaques with whitish scaling — typically on the elbows, knees and scalp. It is not contagious.

The range of treatments available today is very broad, from topical therapies to biologic medicines, and makes it possible to control even extensive forms. This is one of Prof. Dr. Manuel's areas of special expertise.
