Seborrhoeic dermatitis / eczema

Chronic inflammation of the areas with the most sebaceous glands — scalp, eyebrows, sides of the nose, chest. It causes redness and scaling ("dandruff" is the mildest form).

It comes and goes in phases, with better and worse periods, and stress or cold weather can make it worse. There is effective treatment to control flare-ups and space them out.
