Transposition flap (simple, bilobed, trilobed, glabellar)
Flaps that 'jump' over healthy skin to cover the defect — with one, two or three lobes depending on what is needed; the glabellar flap uses the skin between the eyebrows to reconstruct the nose and the inner corner of the eye.
They are the mainstay of nasal reconstruction in skin cancer surgery.
