Intralesional corticosteroid
An injection of a small amount of corticosteroid directly into the lesion — for keloids, alopecia areata and hypertrophic scars, among other indications.
It concentrates the effect exactly where it is needed, using minimal doses, and is repeated in sessions spaced according to the response.
