Advancement flap («A-T», «puzzle», «back-cut», subcutaneous pedicle, bilateral «H»)
A family of flaps in which neighbouring skin advances in a straight line to cover the surgical defect — each design («A-T», «H», «puzzle»…) addresses a specific geometry and location.
They allow reconstruction with local skin of the same colour and texture, with scars aligned along the natural skin lines.
