Excision and full-thickness skin graft
Reconstruction in which the defect is covered with a full-thickness piece of skin taken from another area (behind the ear, the collarbone), chosen to match in colour and thickness.
It is used when a local flap is not the best option, and involves specific dressing care during the first few weeks.
