WHAT IS LIGHT-BASED HAIR REMOVAL?
Light-based hair removal is a unisex treatment that aims to remove hair gradually, painlessly and safely. It is the best method for keeping the skin smooth and hair-free all year round and for a long time.
This hair removal technique uses light energy to achieve gradual, long-lasting hair reduction. The light is absorbed and converted into heat by the melanin present in the hair, progressively weakening the hair follicles and thereby inhibiting hair growth.
Light-based hair removal is a highly advantageous method using advanced technology, with proven results, and can be applied to various areas of the body. It is a non-invasive method.
PROCEDURE
At the first session there will be an assessment and information consultation with the Dermatologist and with the Nurse who will carry out the procedure, including a brief explanatory presentation on the whole hair growth process, the procedure itself, and the aftercare required following the sessions.
At this same consultation, a hair sample will also be taken from each area of the body to be treated so that it can be examined under the microscope, allowing us to assess and inform you of the expected success rate.

EQUIPMENT
Our clinic is equipped with the Harmony XL Pro device, which uses the Super Hair Removal (SHR) method. This works by gradually heating the dermis to a temperature that efficiently damages the hair follicles and prevents regrowth, while also avoiding damage to the surrounding tissues.
